I took my Canon G9 “point and shoot” camera along this year to Hat Creek and took about 300 photos with it. My main camera was a Canon Xti DSLR (digital single lens reflex) with an APS sized sensor and it did fine as usual. But I wanted to try the smaller G9 to see how it handled some of the tougher lighting situations… It did a surprisingly good job… Here is one I like….
